ART uses bespoke in house developed tools to provide coverage measurements for a variety of technologies. Wea are also able to offer Basic CW (Carrier Wave) surveys from DC to 6.0 GHz. This type of survey not generally covered by the expensive cellular survey equipment can provide a very cost effective way of confirming the coverage of non cellular radio systems.
Results can be displayed graphically using professional mapping software tools e.g. Mapinfo. Coloured symbols are referenced to a specific band of receive parameters e.g. RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) providing a ‘snail trail’ of coverage information. Data can also be provided in raw graphical format e.g. CSV for further post processing and manipulation.
Real world measurements can be used to confirm prediction results and even be fed back in to CAD software to improve modelling accuracy.
